Biography [sort of] So, you wanna know more about me. Damn you got to be desperate :)   What can I say about myself? Lets see... oh yes... I was born! A smile runs thru my face when I remember those days, it was so long ago, 14.04.1982. (exactly 70 years after Titanic sunk!). That day everybody stopped smoking in my family, so I am naturaly forbidden to do so. I was a smart kid, at least my mom says so! But today, I'm a big boy! I don't poo my pants, I don't piss in the bed at night. And I ain't affraid of dark. Ok ok, but just a little bit!   Music and the rythm are the two things I love the most in this disturbed place called 'Earth'. I was 4 years old when my dad bought me this small Yamaha keyboard. I still have it, but I don't play it anymore b'cos it has crappy sound, and the keys are too small. Maybe I get loads of money for it when robots roam the Earth and destroy all keyboards of 20th century. But I live in Croatia, which Americans don't know shit about, and since they are gonna programme the robots, they won't come here. I know I know, you're thinking: Whatta?!? So anyway, I played this small keyz, and got pretty addicted. So I got a real pianino (real piano, but not grand, the small one) when I was 5. Then I went to music school, bla bla.   Suddenly I was 18! I finished high school (2 of them actually), and I was completely in music. Earlier, around 1998 I left classical piano behind, and started playing with local bands and with church choir. I started to like jazz and funk. In my head was a mess, but I knew one thing; or going further in music, or painful death by listening Britney Spears and Back Street Boys (they were 'in' then) all day! One dear friend of mine mentioned this School of Audio Engineering in Amsterdam. So guess where daddy has been for 2 marvelous years :) Oh yeah baby, and everything that comes with it! *Mom, if U're reading this, I didn't do anything, I swear!* And will always remember all those people who became friends, and who made my stay in Amsterdam one wonderful experience. From the teachers in SAE, best dutch girl Ilse, crazy black Croats, Izrael gang with whom I made a CIA (Croatian ISraeli Association), American Drew crew, and all the rest. Thank you! So today, I'm an audio engineer with a diploma! I came home last year, spent some quality time doing nothing, and this year I got a job. I work in a city theatre in Zagreb as a (guess what) sound engineer. The job itself is not as interesting as recording in a studio, but it's not hard, and I'm not working my ass off like many croats here, so I'm happy. I have a lot of time to play my music, that is most important! So...   That's kinda mostly it. I don't wanna go in details, and if there is a God (and I believe there is), you'll see more of Sason Le Klee! One day I will come back to visit this page, and laugh how life was young, and I didn't know shit :D So, take care, and have a big hello from (at least today) sunny Zadar! Actually I'm in Zagreb now, but my heart is in Zadar :) The sun is always shining there. Yep... Nice holiday destination. Nice hot weather, beautiful Adriatic coast, awesome food... Ok ok, enough... Bye! |
